How do I know if therapy or psychologist can help me?
Therapy has proven to be helpful in resolving a number of problems people commonly encounter, such as anxiety or depression. A recent review by Consumer Reports looking at therapy found that 85% of all clients who attended therapy found it to be very beneficial in dealing with their problem(s) and that those issues were successfully resolved.
Anxiety is the most common disorder in the US. Since the pandemic 1 in 5 adults struggles with anxiety. 1 in 4 Kids ages 13-18 suffer from anxiety. Those with untreated generalized anxiety miss out on important social events, are 3 to 5 times more likely to go to the doctor, may miss school or work, and may engage in substance abuse.

What if my child needs to see a psychologist?
If you feel your child may need to see a therapist, please contact our office at 828-772-7675. We have counseling professionals who specialize in childhood issues, family therapy, and diagnostic assessment. We will work with you, your child, and family to identify the problem and put a plan into place to treat it.
Do you accept insurance?
Insurance plans, deductibles, and copay's vary from insurance company to insurance company. Check with your insurance company to see if you have coverage. Payment is due at time services are rendered; that said, we will give you all the paperwork and information you need to submit your claim to your provider.
